Wildlife Gallery Construction 

Designed and Built by Paul Szeiler

Our bespoke gallery was designed and hand built built by Paul to showcase our work. Situated on the mountainside overlooking Lochbroom; many of the core materials used in the gallery are sourced within eyes sight. Its a hearty but beautiful walk up the track to the gallery or you can drive in a suitable vehicle (long wheelbase vehicles should be left in the parking near the road). 

The gallery utilizes traditional dry stone dyke wall construction that builds sturdy storm proof walls without the need for mortars or cement. The stone used was collected from the hillside and natural pine beams felled locally produce the roof structure. White lime plastered walls give a great backdrop for viewing the artwork and a wood burning stove keeps things cozy in the colder months.

The Bothy

The Szeiler Art Bothy is a restored ruin located on the mountainside amidst birch and hazel woodland with beautiful views of Lochbroom and Beinn Dearg. The bothy will offer comfortable accommodation for two people and feature a cooking and kitchen area, Clearview wood burning stove and solar powered fridge, lighting and electric as well as gas cooking hob. Located nearby outside there will be a custom built shower and toilet unit. The bothy will be open at select times through the season so please contact Szeiler Art if you are interested in staying.
